Brian was a long term member and supporter of the Adelaide Sailing Club and was well respected by all those who knew him. Sadly we lost Brian last October and his family are now ready to scatter his ashes in accordance with his wishes.

We have asked the SA Sea Rescue Squadron to join us along with Brian's family, to an afternoon scattering and ceremony on Sunday 6th April.
It is proposed that Brian's ashes will be scattered from A10  "The Brian Sorell" (the rescue boat donated by Brian to the Adelaide Sailing Club), attended by other vessels from the Sailing Club and the Squadron at approximately 1300hours.
After the scattering, all in attendance are invited to gather on the Sailing Club lawns and take the opportunity to meet the family and share memories of Brian with others. Light catering will be provided by Fuego by the Sea, and to assist with this we require an RSVP from all those who will be joining us on the lawn.
